Yes, it's not plugs that use platinum in the electrodes that are the problem,
it's the plugs made by Bosch called 'platinum' that are!
I have used Autolite Platinums in my 5kCSQ with no problems and would
again. Currently it is running NGK BP6ET, a triple electrode plug.

I agree. The case hasn't even gone to the jury with the +4s. They should
work fine as long as the center electrode doesn't erode away...
As far as I know, the problem with the platinums was that center electrode
was very thin and with the extra heat of the turbo motor, eroded _very_
quickly.
