FWIW, the GY F1 GSD3 are not a soft riding tire. I have them in a 45 series on the Saabaru and they do have a relatively stiff sidewall, especially in comparison to the Falken FK451. They are more responsive and only about equally grippy. They are NOT an ultimate grip tire, but definitely are much more performance oriented than touring. The Azenis RT615/215 or Hankook Z212 would be grippier but the Eagles aren't bad. Hard for me to truely assess grip however, since when I'm really pushing things, I'm running Avon Tech RA DOT-R rubber.
