SAE ponies are smaller than DIN ponies so it takes more of them to do the same work. 1 SAE = 0.986 DIN therefore: 269 DIN ponies (IIRC the number) = 269/0.983 = 272 SAE ponies (not the 280 quoted by Hoppen et al). _____ "I never give them hell.
