[s-cars] Textars on the street

Guys,

Just try them.  It seems that nobody here wants to use
Textars.  I wonder how many have.   

I installed Textars with my BB 993 brakes on my 91
200.  Put 22K miles on the brake set.  Took the brake
set off the 200 and installed it on my 94 S4.  I've
now put I think another 42K? miles  on them.  This is
all the same set of pads!  Yes I know. How can I get
that kind of life from the pad that BTW is less dusty
than stock, squeals at most 3 times a year and is good
enough for a track event if it is a slower very wet
event. 

I do uses the OE Porsche anti squeal stick ons, I
haven't used any anti-sieze on them though I do
believe in it and use a Nissan copper type on every
brake job I do.  I do alot of brakes, I'm a Nissan
tech.

Why does aftermarket have to be better?  They are
close to needing replacement but how could I complain.

BTW the Red box Mintex on the wifes A4 are no less
dusty than the Textars.
