[s-cars] VMAP question for Feico or Steve

I hope that when my hoard of 300 kPa transducers is used up VMAP will
still be here to sell me some.  

When the sensors were getting scarce I ordered them from everywhere I
could: 30 here, 4 there, and 10 there until I could not find any more.  

I still have quite a pile of them for modification packages and stage
III+ upgrades.

Is the VMAP of any benefit if one is not going to upgrade the turbo,
i.e. just a Stage I (50 hp type) mod?  I like the idea of the VMAP but
can't tell if there is any benefit without a bigger turbo.  On the other
hand, is it like Ned's Stage III + (with the 3.0 bar (NLA) transducer)
in that you can push things a little harder than 50 hp?
