[s-cars] LAF Weakend JNR report - E60 ///M5Pasqualoni, James E james.pasqualoni at gs.comTue Apr 3 14:13:18 EDT 2007
Taka-forgot about you writing that. Same thing happened to me on Sat nite. Me, in my 200 20v Avant with my Russian/American friend of 1 million candle-power ill-repute riding shot-gun, doing about 110 on I84 just outside of The Township of Polland, County Krasusky, CT. All of a sudden, the shimmering blue lights alerted me to it's presence, and then the E60 shot by as if fired from a sling shot. Amazing. Stunning. Never heard him coming. Simply put, that E60 is an appliance for speed and luxury. -----Original Message----- From: s-car-list-bounces at audifans.com [mailto:s-car-list-bounces at audifans.com] On Behalf Of pkrasusky at ups.com Sent: Tuesday, April 03, 2007 2:05 PM To: s-car-list at audifans.com; t44tqtro at gmail.com Subject: Re: [s-cars] LAF Weakend JNR report - E60 ///M5 Taka 57Suggested: <<<Date: Fri, 30 Mar 2007 21:34:31 -0400 From: "Taka Mizutani" <t44tqtro at gmail.com> Subject: Re: [s-cars] LAF Weakend JNR report - E60 ///M5 Paul- Awesome review! I'm going to archive this one. :-) If 165 in the E60 M5 is that uneventful, you need to try it in something like the Maybach 57S or the S600. I had a guy in a S600 completely blow my doors off north of 110-120, the thing didn't even really make any sound doing it- it just showed me its taillights..... silently, with no drama whatsoever. That's freaking cool- it's like having a roadjet. With that review, I want one. :-) Having had some decent seat time in the E39 version and having a little in the E34, I can only imagine that the Banglified, i-drived, uglified version is still dynamically better. What a scary thought. Taka>>> Yeah, totally man totally. Jah, the Pedestrian "57" we JNR'd (nor the 62 for that matter) just weren't enough 8-). Prolly too JNR to qualify? http://www.krasusky.photos.us.com/c329220.html Kidding aside, we thought we'd lined up a repeat of that for last falls' 57S debut (a whopping 40 made?!?!?), but in the end it never materialized. Maybe someone tipped them off? Na.... Your last sentence rings too damn true Taka. I wanted to hate the car, I did. Impossible. And I just saw a 335Ci on the road today, whoa momma that car looks nice on the road! Great stance / presence. Best implementation of them eyelight halo's (refuse to type / say name evah) yet, look like awesome City Lights. Colleague here got his red 335i sedan last week, threw me keys, threw them back saying to report back come break-in. Muwhaahahaa. That car looks f'n stunning in red. Again, want to hate, but... Good thing I got around to updating me website at least SOME last week before the crash. Would have lost all SoT references to "HELP!" "HELP!" "HELP" for good - what would the world be without??? Bottom two galleries: http://www.krasusky.photos.us.com/ Still stumbling through recovery suggestions, few of yous here threw some great ideas to try - thanks - fingers f'n crossed. -Paul man down - I need(ed) back up K. _______________________________________________ S-CAR-List mailing list S-CAR-List at audifans.com http://www.audifans.com/mailman/listinfo/s-car-list
