[s-cars] Broken H&R Springs

Hello All,

 

So my right front H&R spring (29771) rusted through and I had it
replaced and got credit for the part from H&R.  Well now the left front
has followed and I'm told that they have no idea when they will get
another spring like this in stock.  All they know is that it's not in
the next shipment from Germany, so 8 weeks minimum.  The dealer I
purchased them from will supposedly offer cost pricing for a new
complete set of Eibach's (minus the credit for the broken spring), which
I'm still waiting for the quote and options.  Another suggestion they
had was to replace the fronts with H&R 29921 and leave the rear alone.  

 

My main concern is that I was very happy with the performance and height
of the current set, and I'm not sure how the others will compare.  Any
suggestions one which set I should be looking at, also is it time to
replace my 9 year old Bilstein Sports?
