[s-cars] upper strut mountsWylie Bean theringmeister at triad.rr.comSat May 9 08:20:05 PDT 2009
I completely agree but in a word of defense on my own behalf I was in a bit of a financial bind at the time and having just bought a decent set of tires and a few other things a month before I cheaped-out on those mounts knowing the caveat. It was a longshot I know but at $24 vs 8X that for OE mounts even online I was willing to chance it. The promises of high quality in the strut mounts, lower control arm bushings and "new technology" coolant reservoirs has proven to be hype only in the past for products that have been demonstrated to be inferior. If you are expecting satisfactory service from $12 JLGermany upper strut mounts, I think you need to review this decision process. I don't have all the answers but most of the "bargain" stuff hitting the market is no bargain.
