Several people on the s-cars list have reported problems with the spark plugs working their way loose. I've seen this as a problem myself; consider this a quick reminder to periodically check the torque on the plugs. For curiousity, if anyone finds loose plugs, please post.
The list has been very quiet; I'll assume that's because your cars are working so well. Right?
There are some new list members out there; want to remind them of some of the resources our list has assembled:
Scott Mockry's pages at http://www.sjmautotechnik.com
has info on reading the stored error codes, and detailed troubleshooting info. Lots of links, too.
My page at http://members.aol.com/c1j1miller/welcome.html
has more of the same, plus some upgrade info, reviews and specs, and a links page. Feel free to browse, and comment on what you'd like to see added, changed, etc.
If you're shopping for parts or a new car, try the http://s-cars.org classified section, or http://www.autotrader.com, or http://ep.com
http://www.ebay.com also has a lot of audi related things for sale.
You've been to the http://www.audifans.com site, home of this list, and the quattro list.
There's a little usefull info on http://www.audiworld.com, but it's mostly to do with the brand new audis; http://www.vwvortex.com is similar, with more emphasis on the vw side of the company.
If you're looking to buy parts, many people use the vender's list off the audifans site (which is under reconstruction). I usually get audi only parts through Clair Audi in Boston (ask for Mac or Barry), or through Carlson Audi in California (ask for Linda or Didi). Most other parts I'm getting from Rod at thepartsconnection.com http://www.thepartsconnection.com
or from various other venders.
There, what did I miss?
This list is generally non-commercial in nature, but feel free to post parts for sale, etc. as individuals. If you're a vender you can contact me, and I'll email out some notices (such as "jeff tells me he's got xxx on special, see http://www.jeffstuff.com". These cars are rare enough that I feel it's fine to post whenever you hear of one for sale. Should we end up with too much of that traffic, we can get our own classified area set up, or our own vender's area.
Thoughts, comments, discussions welcome
