[200q20v] Help with Central Locking

I am trying to track down a problem with my central locking.  The car is a German Spec. 1990 200 TQ 20V.  I took everything apart this weekend to see if there were any obvious problems, but I didn't see any.  I have ordered a Bentley for the car, but it won't be here for a while.  I do know that I am not seeing any 12V+ in any of the three wires going to the door switch.  Also at the pump, there is no 12V+.  I would like to try and test the pump to see if it works, but I am not sure which wires to jumper.  Can someone out there please help me out???
