Your car will produce similar HP at higher altitudes, but will take longer to gain boost (more lag). Above 3,300 ft altitude, max boost pressure is reduced as altitude increases, to save the turbo (turbo works harder in thinner air to get same boost level absolute).  If your box is modified, this may or may not apply...
so, at sea level, you'd be faster, but how much?
Temp is probably also a reason to be much slower; you're way down on HP, and are heat soaking the intercooler very quickly.
