IMO, the 200-20V tranny is as bullet proof as is the 5K, very much worth
rebuilding.  But for god's sake don't consider the S4/6 tranny!  You've not
been monitoring the S cars list, nothing but very expensive tranny troubles!

If you don't want to fix it yourself, consider having it rebuilt at German
Transaxle of America, in Bend, Oregon. 541-382-7723. My experience, and
those of others has been good.  Expect to pay $1000,+/-.
