[200q20v] re: chirping timing belt

I had been thinking it's more likely to be from one of the other belts,
although I can't say why. But you're right, the timing belt has to be a
suspect also. I think I'll try a little spray of water on the external
drive belts (not timing belt) to see if that can quickly quiets the sound
(or make it worse?)
I don't understand your point about the water pumps.
