I think Mike's spedo is off; I've done some rought calcs based on audi's numbers
*max speeds and gear ratios for the urs4 as given on http://urs4.com
*gear ratios from a brochure for the '91 200q20v as shown on http://members.aol.com/c1j1miller/brochure.html

 These numbers are rounded, but should work out OK.
  same 5th, 
  2% lower 4th
  10% higher 3rd
  11% higher 2nd
  3% higher 1st.
