Conformed these numbers again today (with the mix of VDO Vision gauge and
Cockpit thermocouple). You sure your data is F and not C? Mebbe it's cause
you are burning oil and not gasoline? That 1450 F number I can get without
being under boost, just 80-90 MPH steady cruise! Hope to verify with the IR
laser meter when I can get under the car while hot...

Wonder why the numbers are about 800 deg higher than my 6.9L turbo diesel?
Does a diesel run that much cooler than gas?
