Update #2:

Got the car back last night, less than 24 hours "down". Have a clutch
again.   :)  Only $220 for the slave, labour, and flushing/bleeding the
brakes.  Not bad.

Then the bad news.  Mechanic informed me my rack is toast, the boots are
ripped, and leaking pretty badly.  I'm going to try and nurse it along
until the spring, when I guess I'll get to tackle that job.

Tell me again why I like Audis? And why I keep buying them?
