Subject: RE: [200q20v] blower motor replacement - how nasty a job?
I believe that it is the same procedure as on my 86 avant.
I bought a blower motor from Blaufergnugen last year. It came with a good
instruction sheet (much better than the Bentley). Took 3 !/2 hours the first
time. The only difficult part is prying up the somewhat fragile housing and
squeezing out the old blower.
Unfortunately the new unit failed within 30 days and I had to do it again.
Only 1 1/2 hours the second time.
Also pay attention to some of the heater flap linkage for reassembly.
Good luck!
Pete
