Actually, very cold air is low in humidity; as it warms, more water vapor can 
be held in the air.  That's why a heated house in winter is very dry, even if 
the heat is provided by forced hot water.  So, warming up cold outside air 
and blowing it across the windows would tend to dry out the interior.
