[200q20v] Burning oil/leak onto pass. side cat

I had the same problem.  It is very likely a leak in the backup light switch that screws into the transmission just above the passenger side cat.  New switch is about 10.00 and easily replaced.  Check the oil level in tranny.  I was down about a quart.  Replace oil with GL-4 type.  Red Line makes it (MT-90) but I have found shift quality better with OEM oil from dealer.  Red Line is about 9.00/quart while liquid gold from dealer was 19.00/litre.
