I've experienced hard starting with the 200q20v a couple times this fall
when I've not driven the car for a day or two and the weather has been
particularly wet. Both times, the starting process has been two or three
20-second abuses of the starter followed by stumbling and reluctance to
remain running unless revs are kept above 1500 for a couple of minutes. It
took a thorough warming up and 10 to 15 minutes of driving to clear
up. Once it's running smoothly again, it runs and starts normally. I
assume I have a wet wires syndrome that takes a couple days of soaking to
take effect.
