If you are in there to replace the belt and/or pump, you
should absolutely do both. The heartache and skinned
knuckles of this particular job is not one that needs
repeating often.
Also, if you have a stock plastic radiator, and you evacuate
the cooling system because the pump springs a leak, the odds
are very high that before you can stop the car and put in
more water, the radiator's top hose connection will fracture
from thermal shock, and you will get to replace the radiator
as well. I have been through this one twice, and the second
time I put in an all-metal radiator.
