That's an oxymoron, because the timing belt replacement interval is 
60k firm.  Oh well.  At least it was done :-)

you betcha :-)

3B engines are about as rare as they come, mostly because Turbo 
Quattro Coupe owners have an annoying habit of stealing any used 
motors that turn up and transplanting them :-)

Not quite as bad as in England, where Phil Payne tried to find an AAN 
head(AAN is a slightly newer revision of the 3B) and the best he 
could do was $3,500.

I gave him a ride when he was here in the US, and he was impressed. 
He also revealed that it was the first 20v turbo type 44 he had ever 
been in, which blew my socks off; the guy is practically the God of 
Quattros over there.  I asked why, and he said that they were only 
available in LHD and -extremely- rare in the UK.
