[200q20v] Need help getting to the cruise control ECU

Steve,

The CC ECU is located in an impossible to get at spot on the passanger side,
not only behind the wood trim strip, but also behind the fiberglass cross
beam that you will find in the way after you remove the wood trim panel.

IMO the most probable cause of your problem is not the CC ECU but the power
lead (black) to the control switches on the turn signal arm.  This wire
often breaks at the base of the arm where the wire bundle goes under a
clamp.  My suggestion, forget about the ECU and check out this first.  A
much easier R&R.  The replacement steering post switch assemblies have
rerouted this wire bundle to reduce this failure mode.  This is an expensive
switch assembly, so once you have removed the old one and found the problem,
it is relatively easy the repair the wire and reroute the bundle.
