There are 3 clips, two on the front, one on the back and a screw that is hard to get to. You will need a loooooong flat tip screwdriver and a flashlight. Look between the passenger fender and the airbox and you should see if hiding there, it is a self contained screw so just unsrew it and the intake bellows, flip the three clips and off the top comes. Good luck.

    Subject: [200q20v] Air filter access

    Hello,

This is probably a simple question, but I just got the car and accessing the air filter doesn't seem real straight forward.
I want to check the condition of the K&N filter in the car. Don't know how long it has been in there. Probably 50K miles.
I notice 2 clips on the front side of the air filter box. Are there any additional clips or a special procedure to lift that box out
and reveal the air filter? I need to get the Bentley manuals soon so I can have a reference for these kinds of questions.

    Thanks,

    -Greg
