If I were to do it over again, I would attempt to include the internal
damper, but at this point it is not worth redoing..  The boss is
hypercritical about "her car" and she has had no complaint about the noise,
which is only evident when high load is on the rack, zero speed turning,
such as in parking.  If you are going to have a local hydraulics shop do the
rebuild, maybe they can include a damper system fashoned after the stock
hose.  But you will have to show and tell with them or they will never find
it or understand it.
