[200q20v] power steering hose (rebuilding) question

i was under the impression that there was two styles of oem hose, one with
o rings in the banjo and one with crush washers on the banjo, but the
"innards" were the same and they correlated to different years (earlier
style vs. later style).  in addition to this, be advised that the pentosin
is not typical hydraulic brake fluid and materials of construction for the
high pressure hoses MAY need to be different than typical hoses. i've had
an aftermarket hose
fail for no apparent reason and it seemed to be weeping from a large area
rather than at a fitting.  in any case, good luck with replacing the hose
as the rack connection is "inconvenient" to access
