Standheizung is the german word for a parking heater. It is not a special
brand. It comes in various flavours (timed or remote controlled, elected or
gasoline), and is especially well known in the nordic countries. It used to
be optional on the Audi. And it is still listed in ETKA.

Dear List,

Has anyone heard of the Euro optional Webasto brand "Standheizung". It
is an independent heater that goes in the engine compartment that
preheats and circulates the coolant and turns on the heater fan in the
morning 1 hour before you get in the car. I am looking to put it in my
91 200 Avant.
