This afternoon I chatted with the owner and briefly drove the car. It has
warp-free UFO brakes (already resurfaced at least once, so don't count on
very much thickness to spare). The Hoppen chip helps the car pull very
smoothly to red line with no untoward noises or behavior. It's supposed to
have a K&N filter that resides in the standard airbox--I didn't verify. I
thought the car pulled a little, well--different, at low rpms than mine
does. Off the line It had a different feel--or perhaps just the exhaust
sound (I forgot to check exhaust system). Engine idles well and quietly.
An oily layer on the cam-cover--maybe just filler gasket leakage. The
wheels seemed to be average condition oem 7.5x15 BBS with Hakka NRW
all-season tires (maybe a years worth of tread remaining). Well-sandblasted
DOT headlights. Interior fair to good--all windows and sunroof work.
Standard (Barcolounger) seats. The body had no glaring defects--a mild ding
or scrape here and there. Seems like a nice average car with no major
problems (evident to me) plus a nice bit of extra boost. Price is probably
somewhat negotiable--owner wants to sell in order to buy a '93 V8.

During our conversation, I learned that there are 5 (five) '91 200q sedans
in this little backwater of central NYState--within about a 10 mile radius
with a total population of well under 10,000 souls!! And all are Lago Blue
(the cars, that is)! That's including mine--although my fulltime residence
is about 120 miles to the west.
