Just turn on the power for the phone (press the PWR
(?) key) and after a few seconds the phone will
display loc'd (?). Dial the unlock code (factory
default "123") and the phone will unlock itself; no
need to press "send" or anything after simply dialing
the unlock code.
This is the usual procedure if the ignition is off,
even if the phone is set to turn on with the ignition.
(If it was on when the ignition was turned off, then
it'll turn on when the ignition is next turned on.)
Let me know if this works for you.
