[200q20v] Bose amps going bad...

Ok, so I'm starting to get the loud humming noise from the rear deck, and 
the rear speakers have stopped working.  (At which point I stopped using the 
stereo.)  Obviously the amp back there is bad, re: all those small problems 
with fires.  My questions are pretty straightforward:

1) Who do people like as sources for these, and what's the current going 
rate?

2) Chris Miller's site makes replacing these sound like a MAJOR headache; 
has anyone found a less painful way to do it?

3) The front speakers were starting to work intermittantly, as well; is this 
likely a variation on the same problem, or just a loose wire?
