[200q20v] questions about brake hoses, pads...

Hi Phil, 

Hoses leaking or damaged?  Don't fix 'em if- - -.  Fat wallet?

For the track, I'd switch back to the UFOs for 15% more braking torque, if
you still have them.

All rotors tend to wear true.  So don't screw them up by resurfacing.  Most
resurfacing lathes are never serviced, BTDT, and the brake monkeys make
money by machining yours undersize and selling new.  Rotor wear does not
harden the remaining surface, and any new pad will quickly adjust to the
rotor.  The full surface area of the pad is never in full, equal unit
pressure, contact with the rotor anyway, because of changing pad and caliper
deflections at differing applied piston braking forces.
