[200q20v] Hesitation above 4000 rpm

Hi listers,

I need some help I'm going on vacation soon and my beloved wagon started to 
hesitate at about 4000 RPM in all gears. In fifth it was a momentary lack of 
acceleration from 100 mph and up in the lower gears it was more noticeable. I 
have new O2 sensors (5000 miles) max boost I'm getting is 1.7 bar...MPG is 
normal. 

Do I have a bad tank of gas?...need new fuel filters?  Buy a new car???

Any help or ideas would be really appreciated.
