Hey all,
This got me to thinking. Do high horsepower 4wd cars exhibit torque steer?
I was always under the impression that the reason a car that would have
torque steer in a front drive chassis, but not in a 4wd setup was because
the power was divided between the two axles.
Is there something I'm missing in the torque steer equation, or are the high
power quattros torque steering?

Wow wee. Are you sure you want to spend that kind of time and money on a
2WD car? I assume that by NQ you meant non-quattro. Please tell me it's
not an automatic. That would last maybe 2 days. If you do the 20vt swap
yourself it will probably cost you between $6-8K and end up with a car that
will just spin the front wheels. If you are interested in a fancy engine
swap I would suggest in starting with a different car.
