The strut top rubber bushings are fully effective as Audi designed in
isolating road vibrations from the chassis.  It is only with respect to
strut top transverse cornering forces that the strut brace divides this
force equally between the two bushings and towers for a resultant half of
the normal deflection of bushing and tower.
