Actually the Audi (NHTSA) recall notice mentions 4300 potentially
affected cars, so it's safe to assume that V8 and other models are
also involved. If Audi didn't just pull that number out of their
tailpipes, then surely a bunch of upgraded 100s would be needed to
get the figure that high.
