Meaning what--that he replaced the MFTS, or that he just conclude
that the old one was OK? If it's the latter, try unplugging the MFTS

Is the temp warning light always on now, or did it only come on that
first time? If it's always on, I'd strongly suspect the MFTS (unless
it is a new one).
