Deja vu and all, but I think I remember a thread within the last several
weeks concerning the multi-function computer on the dash and the overheatin=
g
warning. Getting that intermitent demon, temp gauge is fine, however the
boil over icon is coming up the multi-function display.
At the time of that thread, wasn't this issue attributed to the ever so
consumable multi-funciton temp sensor in the engine bay? Doesn't a problem
with this sensor usually tie into low boost as well; I'm only seeing about
1.4.
Has anybody ever investigated removing/disabling the multi-function display
and chime unit in the interior/cluster? Like maybe one wire that will quel=
l
these issues for good? Hasn't 100 miles till empty always seemed a little
premature for the gas warning light?
derek p
low boost, but I can't seem to get those noises out of my head!
