Not to plays devils advocte, but I will... With all this talk of designed in compliance on the various front suspension bushings on our cars, isn't there a chance that having a strut to strut brace would change the compliance/deflection specs on our vehicles. Don't know for sure, but it seems possible that the deflection in the top strut mount bushing is also a factor that was taken into consideration when the load related suspension geometry changes where drawn up. If this is true, it seems also that this alteration could result in changes to handling characteristics, but who knows, not really numbers that I could run. Those are all theories of course, but in execution does this add up?
I guess this comment also say's that Bernie's explanation and execution on the strut tie bar makes sense (ie tieing the strut top verse tower top) as related to his demobilzation goal.
And also, I have also heard that the ball joint is not replacable without replacing the whole control arm, and wondered why Mr. Mockry didn't include that in his list of front in demons to address. Judging by the rest of the list, it doesn't make sense that it was not listed to save money.
