Dave:

I strongly recommend AGAINST installing a automotive bra...IMHO they can 
cause more damage than the protection that they provide...
scenario...no matter how well the bra fits, you will get a certain amount 
of flap or flutter-now drop some some very small pieces of sand or other 
abrasives in there, add moisture, shake well, and you get the picture- 
scuffing and scratching. I know that at least some bra manufacturers 
recommend removing them in the rain, too.

If you are looking to protect the paint on the leading edge of the hood, 
you are better off applying "stonguard" or the clear film that 3M 
manufactures.  I saw the application that Igor Kessel did on his pearl 
S6...it's practically invisible...he applied it to his bumper, headlights 
and front edge of the hood.
