Hi Dave - I have a 91 TQ Wagon, live in Colorado, and am very familiar with
sand/gravel tearing up the front end of the car. As for bra's, I've used a
Colgan for the last three winters with no ill effects to the car. I don't
even take it off to wash it. Just an occasional check underneath for
gravel. The only problem is that the hood does not always latch using both
latches. It pops up about 1/2" when it does come undone. I just close it a
bit more aggresively & it stays fine. You might also consider some of the
thick plastic headlight protectors, especially if you go with Euro lights.
Put them on immediately & save a cracked lense. I'got the company name if
you need it. Steve Arthur
