I don't believe that Bentley recommends replacing it (some one will correct 
me on that).  OTOH, when I do a timing belt job, and I've done a bunch, I 
always removing the old locktite with a bench grinder or a drill with a 
wire wheels to clean the threads - I then visual examine the bolt for 
deformation,  (Which I know is not the best method), before reinstalling 
with the correct locktite.

FWIW, I was AMAZED at the timing belt-a-thon (couple a years ago at Chris 
Miller's house) how loose some of the crank bolts were - I just leaned on a 
2 foot 1/2 inch breaker bar to loosen the bolts on three cars!
