[200q20v] Airbag light

Prior to making the appointment, I had them check on the airbag recall.
Their response was "There are no open recalls on that car" meaning my VIN.
If the recall has been done, I would have preferred them saying "Yes, the
recall was one on 11/2/99".

When was this recall campaign launched? If I knew that, I might be able to
deduce if it was even possible.

I haven't used Park in years...
First, they'll check to see that the airbag recall has been completed.
Then, they'll probably check the stored codes, if any, from the new control
unit.
I've heard that they can adjust the sensitivity of the unit, but also heard
from others that they'll just recommend replacing the clock spring (for
several hundred $$$).

Hope they can just adjust the monitor unit.
If the light goes out, it should be working (after the 2 minutes... don't
get into an accident in the first 2 minutes, I guess).
