[200q20v] trip computer problems

Any of you guys ever have trouble with their trip computer?
Mine has always worked but today it froze.  Even with the keys out of the
ignition, it stayed on.  I removed the clock, radio fuse and the trip
computer turned off.  Well I replaced the fuse and the trip computer came
back on but it was all scrambled---All LED's were lit, and it stayed on.  

Any BTDT or suggestions.  My Bentley is in the mail.
