BTW, my car's radiator fuse cover is also broken off. But a complete
replacement fuse box--assuming it offers significant protection--is
available for a few bucks (no more than about $10, AFAIR). I have one
that I've been too lazy to install. :-(
The original screw-heads holding the fusible link are painted to
resist corrosion. I've checked the ground with a good meter and it
seems pretty good after 125K miles of rust-belt driving.
