Taka,

A correction on my first response below.  I forgot to mention that two
special strut nuts must be fabbed to accomodate the ball joint ends of the
strut.  These can be made by any machine shop.  Sorry about the oversite, it
must be a sign of a mild (?) case of oldtimers disease.

Another thought.  I have one 5K/200 'Benz Brace' for sale, that I could
remove before from my son's car goes to the crusher.  $50 complete, any
interest?

Apparently you have looked at Chris Miller's site for past discussion on
this subject.  My design is disclosed in full therein, FYI.  Your local
wrench could easily fab this brace for you, as no machine work is required,
just a tubing cutter.
