[200q20v] Re: Gravity Induced Headliner Failure

In an earlier Type 44 with your problem I discovered a fix.

3M makes a  fast drying spray adhesive (available in the warehouse
AutoParts stores) which I sprayed onto the backside of the headliner
fabric and pressed onto the roof.  This functioned fairly well, though
the adhesion to the remaining original headliner foam backing was
somewhat tentative, it also wasn't very elegant.  Despite the cost of
the 16 oz aerosol adhesive (~$15 as I recall), this was a CHEAP solution
when compared to a professional headliner replacement. Be prepared to do
a thorough vacuuming afterward to get rid of the powdered foam.  My
thoughts were how much time did I spend examining my car's roof when
driving?
