[200q20v] intercooler hose dislodged

While I had my car at the euro shop apparently the tech noticed that one
of my intercooler hoses (lower?) - he thought it was a "radiator hose"
- was blown off, and he re-attached it.  I guess sometime in the last few
months my Mom blew the hose off and has been driving that way for a bit.
Would installing Samco hoses alleviate this problem?  Or would a new
factory hose help?

I can't wait to get my car back so I can work on it myself...  "radiator
hose" hmph...
