[200q20v] rebuilding shifter

Has anyone done this with their 200q20v?  My plastic shifter ball seemed a
little shot when peering in before fixing the loose boot problem, and if
it isn't too expensive to replace that and some other misc parts in
there then it might be worth the effort.  I also notice a vague spot in
the shifter play between first and third; sometimes it's hard to tell the
difference between whichever of the two I've selected.
