Since Bilstein has a lifetime warranty on their shocks, and will replace
them at no charge, I'm not sure of the concern here. BTW, I've run a number
of sets of Bilsteins, and have never had to make a claim. Friend of mine
did, and got a new set with no questions asked.

BTW, I *love* the Bilsteins in my S6 avant. I thought they were going to be
harsh...but they are not at all.
