[s-cars] RE: [200q20v] Need advice: Koni or Bilstein

I don't see how/why the Bilsteins just last forever.  We already have a
lister or two with a blown set.  What's that, a 10%+ failure rate on our
list?

Let's say that's true, but I wonder if those Bilsteins would be as good
75K later as the fresh set of new Turbo Gases you just had installed (but
still came out even $$$ wise in the end.)  I doubt it.  I suppose you
could just have your Bilsteins replaced every so often as well, but we're
talking about 150K miles here.  I doubt any of us will own our cars
for another 150K miles.  You'd still break even $$$ wise within
that period, and would not have to pay it all up front with the Boges
which I'd consider an advantage..  All for the same quality shock.
